Modeling, Rendering, Replicators, Compositing, Painting (04:30:03)
As a fan of science fiction and fantasy movies, I always loved those amazing establishing shots which introduced us to the worlds they were creating. I also always wondered how they did it. I was amazed to find that, in those old movies, some of those worlds were simply paintings! In the digital realm, matte painting came to involve the use of 3D graphics, painting, photos and any other technique needed to bring the fantasy world to life. Now these techniques are being brought to you! You will learn how you can use MODO to create the 3D elements you need, and composite them with photo elements and even simple painting techniques to create your own worlds! (3 videos)
