MODO SCI-FI

Modeling, Lighting, Rendering, Compositing (01:58:21)
When I worked at Zoic Studios on the attempted reboot of the Lost in Space franchise, I learned a host of techniques for creating great sci-fi scenes quickly and with very high quality. Now I am passing those techniques on to you! In this video you will learn all about kit bashing, a technique from the days when spaceships were done with real plastic models. You will learn how to create the dramatic lighting, for space scenes, that we know and love from our favorite sci-fi shows like Star Trek and Deep Space Nine. Most importantly, you will learn how to construct a basic setup that, once done, allows you to crank out movie quality sci-fi scenes with effortless ease! (1 video)
