I have to say that I think the writing on television was better back then. Sure, I suspect the pacing of shows from this era would be too slow for modern audiences, but they spend so much more time and effort on their characters. They make them seem so real. I also find them to be far more likable than most characters in modern shows,

I was recently reading an article about an upcoming sci-fi show called Tracker, based on the novel Alien Tracker. The main actor said this show has a nostalgic feeling because it gets back to the days when good guys were just plain good. Banner is like that in The Incredible Hulk. He’s so polite, even when he knows someone is likely a bad guy and up to no good. I kinda miss that.
