I have to admit, I did not expect to get an email from Disney promoting a black cartoon like this. I never heard a single word about this cartoon before today, and it is a series at that. All episodes will be available at the end of the month. Considering what month it is, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I haven’t watched the trailer yet… (Wait a minute. How about I watch it before finishing this post?)

Okay. This show looks very impressive! Set in a futuristic Nigeria and it boasts some pretty cool looking character designs and animation. I will be there on February 28th!

    I also never heard of this. I remember before when there was annoucements, photos, trailers to get people excited about new shows. now the almost sneak up on you. Is advertising becoming to much that they do not want to advertise like before ?

      The advertising industry has been in a slump for years, especially with the decline of linear TV, but Disney not promoting this, and releasing all episodes at once, (same as they did for Echo) may have more to do with the cost cutting and scaling back that they’ve been doing since the return of CEO Bob Iger.
